Users can effortlessly search for recipes based on cuisine preferences and explore user-generated content, such as reviews and shared recipes, fostering a vibrant community interaction.Overall, the feature promotes user engagement and satisfaction by delivering a holistic cooking journey, from personalized recommendations to collaborative recipe sharing.

Freetime

Freetime is a solution designed for busy individuals seeking last-minute events. Key features include user profiles, allowing customization of event recommendations based on preferences. Users can seamlessly share events with friends via integrated social media links. Additionally, filtering options enable users to refine event searches based on specific needs like parking or distance. The platform prioritizes strong information architecture, presenting essential event details based on comprehensive user research to ensure a streamlined user experience.

National Park Service

In my national park service redesign project, I prioritized enhancing user experience through innovative features and improved navigation. One key addition was the integration of a Voice-User Interface (VUI), addressing the absence of voice search in the current mobile NPS interface. Users can now effortlessly search for parks using their voice, directly from the mobile homepage. This feature streamlines the search process and enhances accessibility.Furthermore, I focused on refining the information architecture based on valuable user feedback. Users expressed a desire for easier navigation to find parks, leading me to incorporate UI buttons for simplified park discovery. These buttons offer intuitive pathways for users to explore and access park information quickly and efficiently, ultimately enriching their experience on the platform.

Solace

In redesigning Solace, our non-profit organization, we focused on implementing features that directly addressed user feedback and stakeholder needs. To strengthen the connection between users and our cause, we introduced a captivating slideshow on the homepage featuring images from the orphanage itself. This visual storytelling approach helps users engage more deeply with our mission. Moreover, we streamlined the donation process by integrating a seamless donation feature directly on the homepage. This ensures that users can support our cause quickly and easily, enhancing the effectiveness of our fundraising efforts.Additionally, we incorporated a timeline feature to showcase the tangible growth of the orphanage over the years. By providing a historical overview of our progress, users can witness the impact of their support firsthand, fostering transparency and trust within our community.
